At Viggenz, we want to make your purchasing experience straightforward and secure. This Payment Policy outlines the accepted payment methods, currency, and related information for transactions on our site.
Accepted Payment Methods
We currently accept the following payment methods for all orders on Viggenz.com:
- PayPal: You can pay using your PayPal account balance or any payment method linked to your PayPal account. During checkout, simply select the PayPal option and you will be redirected to PayPal’s secure payment portal to complete the transaction.
- Credit/Debit Cards (via Stripe): We accept major credit and debit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Card payments are processed securely through our payment processor, Stripe. You can enter your card details directly at checkout in the provided fields; Stripe handles the transaction encryption and processing.
At this time, we do not accept cash, checks, money orders, bank transfers, cryptocurrency, or other payment methods not listed above. We also do not offer “Cash on Delivery” or installment payment plans — full payment is required at the time of purchase.
Currency
All prices on Viggenz.com are listed in United States Dollars (USD), and all transactions are processed in USD. If you are using a non-U.S. payment method (e.g., a credit card issued by a bank outside the U.S.), your bank will handle the currency conversion to USD during the transaction. This may result in a charge on your statement in your local currency. Be aware that your bank or card issuer might charge a foreign transaction fee or use a slightly different exchange rate; Viggenz has no control over these conversions or fees.
Payment Timing and Authorization
When you place an order on our website:
- Immediate Charge: Your provided payment method will be charged at the time you place the order (i.e., at checkout). We do not offer delayed billing or payment upon delivery; the transaction must be approved before we deliver the digital product.
- Authorization Holds: For credit/debit card transactions, you may see a pending authorization on your card account when you place your order. This is a normal part of the process where Stripe asks your bank to reserve the funds. Once the payment is captured (usually within seconds), the charge will finalize. If an order is canceled or not completed, the authorization hold will typically fall off your account within a few business days (exact timing depends on your bank).
- Failed Payments: If the payment fails or is declined (for example, due to insufficient funds or an incorrect billing address), the order will not be processed. You will be prompted to try a different payment method or correct the issue. We cannot hold digital product orders in a pending state for a long period — an order is only confirmed once payment is successfully received.
Pricing and Fees
The amount you pay at checkout is the total price of the product(s) you are purchasing. We do not add any extra fees for using any particular payment method. There are no credit card surcharges or PayPal fees passed on to you — we cover any transaction fees from those providers as part of doing business.
- Sales Tax: As a UK-based business selling digital goods to U.S. customers, we currently do not collect U.S. state sales tax on purchases. Should this change in the future (due to evolving tax laws or our business operations), any applicable sales tax would be calculated and displayed at checkout before you complete payment. We will always be transparent about any taxes or fees. (For customers in the UK or EU who might visit our site, note that our prices do not include VAT since we do not target those regions; U.S. customers are not charged VAT.)
- No Hidden Charges: The price you see for the product on our website is what you pay. The only potential additional costs would be if your financial institution imposes something (e.g., a currency conversion fee as mentioned above, or interest if you’re using a credit line). Viggenz does not have any hidden fees.
Payment Security
We take security very seriously:
- Secure Website: Our website is secured with SSL encryption. You can verify this by the “https://” in our URL and the lock icon in your browser’s address bar. This means any data you enter on our site (including personal info and credit card numbers) is encrypted in transit and protected from eavesdropping.
- Trusted Payment Processors: Payments by card are handled by Stripe, and PayPal transactions are handled by PayPal. Both of these processors are industry leaders with high security standards and PCI DSS compliance. Your sensitive payment information (like credit card numbers or PayPal login) is never seen or stored by Viggenz. For card payments, Stripe processes the transaction on our behalf — we receive only a confirmation once it’s done. For PayPal, you log in via PayPal’s own secure popup or page.
- Fraud Prevention: Our payment providers utilize tools to screen for fraud (such as verifying CVV codes, billing ZIP codes, etc.). Additionally, our system might flag certain orders for manual review (for example, if billing and IP locations differ greatly, or if there are multiple high-value orders in a short time). We reserve the right to verify information with you or to cancel and refund an order if we suspect unauthorized or fraudulent activity. This is to protect both you and us from fraud.
- Privacy: Payment details are handled according to our Privacy Policy. Aside from the actual processing, we keep records of your transactions (what was purchased, when, and for how much) but not your full card number or PayPal account details. We may see your billing address and email as provided during checkout, which are used for verification and receipt purposes.
Invoice and Receipt
For each purchase, you will automatically receive an email confirmation which serves as your receipt or proof of purchase. This email will contain:
- The details of the product(s) you purchased (name, quantity, price).
- The total amount paid (in USD), including any tax (if applicable, though typically $0 for our U.S. digital goods).
- A unique order number and/or transaction ID.
- The date and time of purchase.
If you need a formal invoice for business or tax purposes (e.g., with our company details, your billing address, etc.), please contact us at support@viggenz.com. We can provide a PDF invoice upon request that includes our business information (Viggenz, 145 King Street, London W6 9JT, UK) and your purchase details.
Payment Issues and Resolutions
- Declined or Failed Transactions: If your payment is declined, double-check that you entered all information correctly (card number, expiration date, CVV, billing ZIP code) and that you have sufficient funds or credit. Sometimes, banks will block a transaction if it’s outside your normal spending pattern (for example, an international charge). You may need to inform your bank or card issuer that the charge is legitimate and try again. If you continue to face issues, please contact us; we can help identify if the problem is on our end or suggest alternatives.
- Duplicate Charges: Our system is designed to prevent double billing, but if you believe you have been accidentally charged twice for the same order, contact us immediately at support@viggenz.com. Provide the order information and any proof of double charge (e.g., two entries on your card statement). We will investigate and promptly refund any duplicate charge. (Note: Sometimes a duplicate pending entry can appear on your bank statement due to a retried transaction, but one will drop off. If unsure, ask us or your bank.)
- Payment Disputes/Chargebacks: If you have an issue with an order, we encourage you to contact us directly first (via email or chat) so we can resolve it quickly. Initiating a chargeback or dispute through your bank/PayPal for an issue that we could have easily fixed often slows down the resolution. We are committed to customer satisfaction and will honor our Refund Policy. If a chargeback is filed, and we have evidence that the product was delivered as described, we will contest the chargeback. Unauthorized chargebacks on valid orders may result in your account being restricted to prevent fraud. Again, it’s better for all parties to simply reach out to us — we’re here to help.
- Unauthorized Transactions: If you notice a charge from Viggenz that you did not authorize (for example, if someone fraudulently used your card on our site), please notify us and your bank immediately. We can look up the order details on our end and work with you to cancel the order and refund if it’s truly unauthorized. We may require some proof that you are the account/card holder. Viggenz cooperates with law enforcement and payment providers in cases of fraud.
Refunds via Payment Method
In the event of a refund (as governed by our Refund & Return Policy):
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method used. We cannot send the refund to a different card or bank account. This is to protect against fraud and ensure the money goes back to the person who originally paid.
- The timing of funds returning to your account depends on the payment method: credit/debit card refunds may take 5–7 business days to reflect on your statement (some banks are quicker, some slower), while PayPal refunds are often visible in your PayPal account within 1–2 days.
- You will receive an email notification from us (and/or from the payment processor) once the refund has been processed on our side. If a reasonable time has passed and you don’t see the refund, contact us and we will help follow up.
Updates to Payment Policy
We may update this Payment Policy as our business or payment options evolve. For instance, if we add a new payment method (like another digital wallet or a “Buy Now, Pay Later” service) or if there are changes in processing, we’ll revise this document and update the “Last updated” date at the top. We encourage you to review the policy periodically or prior to making a purchase if you have questions about how you can pay.
